Camelot Hauling’s goal of 85% Donation/Recycling rate is not just a number used to excite consumers, more a belief, that what we as a Company do today can effect Our children’s tomorrow. The Curbside Recycling Project is a further continuation of that goal. Camelot’s Curbside Recycling Project is not affiliated with or funded by the City of Goshen. We are a locally owned company providing curbside service to the City of Goshen.
The Curbside Recycling Project encompasses all of the households within the Goshen City limits, and select housing communities located just outside the Goshen City limits. Households located outside the city limits, and interested in curbside services should contact Camelot prior to subscribing to ensure you are within our service area.
In keeping with our goal of 85% recycling rate, we opted to not use the standard small recycling bins purchased by other companies. Nor did we purchase new trash bins to use. Instead we acquired used plastic drums and modified them for use as recycling bins. These repurposed barrels are our statement to reduce, reuse, and recycle any way we can.
The Curbside Recycling Project will accept all #1 and #2 plastics, bottle glass (not window), any aluminum or metal (even if it won’t fit in the barrel), all cardboard, newspaper, and office paper (we do not shred). All items can be placed into the barrel without sorting, though we do ask you to rinse the food containers to eliminate odor and pests.
Households will be scheduled for pickup on a bi-weekly route, the day of the week will be determined by location.
